First: the parts I liked. The plot and the before story were both great, and done just right to show how the protagonist got to where he is at. Although more time was spent on this than with some other movies, I personally did not feel that it was overdone.
Now for the part that ruined this movie for me -
I feel that the gross humor and profanity was way overdone, which was quite disappointing. I think it would have been a much better movie, and appealed to a much broader audience if that had been dialed back a few notches. Pay very close attention to the 'R' rating. This is definitely not for the kids or younger teens.

The acting in this was good, on par with what you would expect from the caliber of the cast.
As for the story line, the only creative part was that the widow suffered from acute anxiety, and thus had quite the challenge in order to complete the bargain she made with her late husband.
After that, it was pretty trite.
Recommended for a feel-good family fare.

Similar story line, done many times before, and this was no improvement.
15 minutes into this, and you should pretty much be able to turn it off - the ending was deja vu all over again.
The only morals I could see out of this are: - stupidity + criminals do not equal success - if he screwed you before, he's gonna do it again
