"I recently watched the latest film featuring Mammookka, and while he delivered a commendable performance as always, the movie itself fell short of expectations. The pacing felt sluggish at times, making it seem like a drag. Unfortunately, the narrative lacked cohesion, and some scenes felt disconnected from the rest of the story.
If Gautam Vasudeva Menon had invested more time and effort into researching and refining the script, the movie could have been more engaging. As it stands, the film's disjointed storytelling and uneven pacing make it a less-than-satisfying watch.
In my opinion, this movie is better suited for a home viewing experience rather than a theatrical watch. Despite Mammookka's notable performance, the film's overall shortcomings prevent it from being a compelling cinematic experience.

The movie feels average, with forced comic scenes and poor song choreography. It's better suited for OTT platforms rather than theaters. The climax scene at Guruvayoor is chaotic and overly long, while unnecessary stunts are irritating. Mixing "Azigiya Laila" with "Nandanam" songs and references feels disjointed. The abundance of characters detracts from the central storyline. Prithviraj's attempts at comedic dialogue delivery, especially referencing "Nandanam," come off as cringey.
Basil Joseph could be good director, but he now repeating same act in all films and similar ilicha characters.
For wrotten stupid comedy lovers, this is worth watch. Otherwise this is below average film.

"Mammootty's performance in 'Kannur Squad' was nothing short of superb. His portrayal of the character was captivating and added depth to the story. The storytelling was executed with finesse, keeping the audience engaged and glued to the screen throughout. The overall experience of the movie's production and execution is truly commendable. 'Kannur Squad' is a must-watch, with its stellar performances and exceptional storytelling leaving a lasting impact on viewers." The level of violence in 'Kannur Squad' is noticeably higher than what is typically seen in Mammootty's movies. It adds a gritty and intense dimension to the film, which may be appealing to some viewers while possibly unsettling to others. It's essential for potential viewers to be aware of this aspect of the movie before watching it.
