After seeing the trailer, i tought this could be OK. I mean i knew it was an Uwe Boll movie, but i tough i'd give it a chance. Boy was i wrong. This movie is bad, i mean bad. Dungeons and Drangons is a masterpiece compared to this. This movie had a budget of 60 million, but the special effects were terrible. Almost like from the TV-series Hercules and Xena. This is like Battlefield: Earth, but with a middle-earth theme. This movie is one of the worst i have ever seen. Everything is bad. Costume design, special effects, plot, music and dialog are all low budget TV-series quality. I'm starting to think Uwe does this on purpose. I mean he can't be this bad, but he is. This movie is a form of torture that should be forbidden by the Geneva Convention.
I found this movie to be pretty boring and the dialogue full of nonsense. You find less talk in a courthouse drama.
The world did not seem futuristic at all. I find it pretty stupid that the same cars and LCD-displays (manufactured by Dell) to name a few, that are in use today, looked like they were brand new in 2019.
The film had much less action that i hoped for. Good dialogue would have helped the situation, but i found the dialogue to be very weird and full of quotes from some old English plays. It felt like some weird wannabe artistic crap. It completely lacked any tension.
And the ending with thousands of V:s that all had perfect clothing and line-up...please.
The only good things in the film were the "funny" pedophile priest, the final fight and Hugo Weaving as V.
Anything that has the name Wachowski in it has sucked after the superb first Matrix movie.
5/10

I have watched Militia II numerous times but i'm still amazed about how good it is. Big thanks to Daniel Frome, the director for making such great films.
The acting is usually excellent for an amateur film. One actor that really shines is Lex Cassar as Brad.
The music is so good i would buy it on CD.
Militia II has it all: drama, great filming angles, unforgettable scenes, good voice acting, excellent music and a nice story.
I have watched it over 10 times as it is better than many real Hollywood movies. Amazing.
