Let's start by saying, I'm a massive Jack Black fan... This was the reason for watching this film, after seeing the trailer - my interest was peaked!! However, my husband and I couldn't watch any more than the first 23 minutes (not quite sure how we managed that long, to be honest!). The acting is the worst I've seen in a non made for tv movie, it was like watching people just reading lines to each other! And the direction was just terrible - point and film each 'actor' that is talking!! We only watched one scene with Mr Black in and unfortunately, it just wasn't enough to keep us watching!! Off it went!! Please don't waste precious Christmas time watching this!! Sorry Jack :-(
Ok, so it was reminiscent of the original Omen films in some ways, but my oh my what have I just spent two hours of my life watching??? If you're a fan of the original films or any films for that matter.... Don't waste your life watching this!!! It's just cliche after cliche, and soooooo very predictable!! The constant background music (although attempting to be Omen esque) was very annoying! It started off quite promising, with an appearance from an actor from the original films.... But sadly went down hill from there!! I was hopeful, being an Omen fan but this was sooo disappointing - don't bother!!!
Soooo soooo bad!! Please please don't waste precious moments of your life watching this god awful film!! It was sooooo bad that we switched it off part way through, we couldn't bare to watch it any longer!!! We gave it a watch because of some of the cast... But not even Danny De Vito could make this film worth watching!!! The relentless Disney music was as irritating as the bad acting, bad story, terrible effects, awful script, terrible direction... And so on!!! If you value your time, then please please please don't even give this film a second thought!! I have no idea why it's rated above 1 by anyone... AVOID!!
