With all due respect to the "good old" nostalgia, the movie was a complete disappointment. Somehow I had hoped for more from Unterhaltunsfernsehen Ehrenfeld than a movie that just looks like every bad German movie, where the actors act just as badly as in every German movie, and so on. I was particularly shocked when I looked up who the man playing the "evil producer" was. THIS is the owner of the Iffland Ring, supposedly the best German actor there is? Dear me, it all seemed so amateurish. If you don't want to ruin the good memories of the stories with the Spencer dolls, you should avoid the movie at all costs.
