A heartwarming film about beauty and love, Cashback (2006) is the story of Ben, a young painter, who can't fall asleep after a violent break-up. He starts to work in the local supermarket, to exchange his extra eight hours for money. There he meets Sharon, and like the artist he is, sees all the beauty in her!

What does it mean when Ben freezes time? I think he can live in a moment forever, because he can (but he needs all the time in the world) to experience all the beauty in every second of life, whether it is a happy or sad moment. All the different things we feel have one thing in common. If you feel, you are alive!

8/10 definitely worth a watch.

I mean, it has a clever idea. But it feels like the writers became a little lazy, or maybe rushed, to come up with a better ending, or to spend a bit more time and effort to give the characters a bit more depth.

Still, it does have it's satirical, kind-of-funny moments. It would have been a solid 8/10, had they come up with a more interesting (or better execution of the same) ending. Even so, it's definitely worth the watch. 7/10.

The Alien Franchise had a great start. The first two movies were great, and the third one and forth one were fine. Then, it became stupid. Their new ideas didn't work, the new cast didn't work, and it seemed like the franchise will end in a terrible state.

Alien: Romulus , despite having been made in the 2020s, which seems like the decade of bad sequels, was an acceptable addition to the franchise. It had elements of every good Alien movie, and a few new ideas, which weren't that good, but not too bad either.

The story starts out great. Some of the scenes and the CGI works are really amazing. And the actors did a great job.

I do hope this will be a new beginning for the franchise, and they will go on to make more and better movies.
