Ive actully been waiting a long time to see this and I just got the limited edition 2 disc dvd. Ive heard great reviews from this movie on how great and scary this movie was and it was! the ending was a total shocking twist ending. it was very well written and extreamly well done and thought of. it doesnt get much scarier and mysterious then this plus the mood of the whole movie was very gloomy and dark, the score is soo eerrie and wonderful it gives me goosebumps just hearing it. the movie is about A Sherrif (James Farrentino of "The Final Count down") Who begins to investigate a series of sudden deaths which turn out to be murder of several out of towners with the towns local and mysterious mortician (Jack Albertson of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory", "The possiden adventure", and the TV sit com "Chico and the man") The Sherrif soon finds out the mysteries secrets and strange going on's at the quiet costal town of "Potters Bluff: A New Way Of Life". with a shocking twist ending yall will never guess that will keep you on your seat. a nice little find and worth every penny.
I havent seen a horror movie, a true horror movie this good in quite a long time. it was cheesy, scary, funny and quite graphic. i was quite scared and truly felt for these people being tortured. rob zombie did quite an excelent job directing this movie. one of the scariest ive seen in awhile and quite distrubing, but it did remind me alot of The Texas Chainsaw massacare. but thats okay to. the ending was predictable but it fit. a true horror movie ending. but it wouldnt surprise me if there truley were familes like this out there in the backwoods somewhere. probably where alot of the unsolved murder cases happened.
