charming comedy about a handsome widower whose precouious six-year-old son who vets all his potential dates. Glenn Ford is playing tom corbet very convincing and Shirley Jones is wonderful as elizabeth marten. this movie is smooth and wonderful. 8 of 10

This is a thoroughly charming, interesting and exciting movie. High class and smooth acting throughout the whole movie. Very convincing acting by Gary Cooper as Howard Roarke. A wonderful movie that shows a lot of different aspects on life. An extra bonus is that you see a lot of nice houses in this movie.

The movies story is about an architect who has an different way of drawing his houses so noone wants to hire him. at least he gets to work as a drilling-worker. when everything is changed and of course a love story is built he gets a note by a self made millionere who wants to hire him. then he gets big in in the architectingworld and then the movie is about his ups and downs...

I am particular when it comes to movies but i give this one a 10! it is worth it! see it!
