I missed the humor in the script. The best thing in Obliterated is C. Thomas Howell, the only one who could make me laugh. He even reminded me of the movie The A-Team and Sharlto Copley's character. It's this style of comedy that the series is missing.
And there are good writers in the action comedy genre. The first Expandables, the first Lethal Weapon, the first Die Hard, the aforementioned A-Team, the first Deadpool, the first Men in Black, the first Ghostbusters... In fact, it's always the new that's interesting, the sequels tend to get more and more boring. And Hollywood, in particular, seems to have lost its brilliance. It practically only makes prequels, sequels, spin-offs and remakes. How about creating new, never-before-seen things? The audience will thank you.

I just don't like the Argentine abuse of the imperative form of verbs, which hurts the ears and disfigures the beautiful Spanish language. It sounds aggressive, annoying, and distracts me. I'm a fan of the screenwriter, director, and producer Juan José Campanella and I'd never noticed this in his films. I really like 'The Secret in Their Eyes,' and 'The Son of the Bride'... Could it be that the bad habit of the imperative is increasing in Argentina? It's a shame, because the country has an excellent filmography. Now, my ears - and my eyes, very much so - are delighting in One Hundred Years of Solitude.
