I really enjoyed Dangerous Animals! I hadn't seen the trailer, so I went in expecting something with sharks which is not the case at all and that actually gave me a crazy boost. I had no idea what to expect, and what I got was super interesting.
The CGI, though... was awful. Like seriously bad. Come on, why has CGI become so terrible lately? It used to be way better in the past. Some things didn't really make sense to me either, but overall, I had a great time watching it. I liked it a lot!

To my surprise, M3GAN 2.0 was pure entertainment and so much fun! It took all the troll energy of the first film and pushed it even further almost turning into a parody at times. Personally, I loved this blend of sci-fi and comedy. It had a great balance, made me laugh, and I genuinely enjoyed the ride!
The cheesy CGI actually worked in many scenes I even felt like I was watching a family movie at points, which made it even more fun, haha. Honestly, I found it more likable than the first movie. The original tried to be horror, but the PG-13 rating held it back. This time, I didn't mind the tone at all. It knew exactly what it was and leaned into it.

The film felt unnecessarily long for no real reason. Most of the characters were empty and, at times, almost irritating with the exception of the main character
From start to finish, the script felt aimless. There was no real payoff, no emotional weight, and nothing to hold on to. The costumes had no particular aesthetic just bland and forgettable, much like the action sequences, which were completely flat and uninspired.
Strangely, the whole thing felt like a weaker copy of Uncharted, but without the charm, the energy, or the fun. Just a slow, empty adventure with zero tension.
And once again the runtime: far too long for what it delivered. The ending was a major letdown absolutely nothing happened, and it was painfully predictable.
Overall, a boring and forgettable experience. A lot of wasted potential.
