Reader I must warn you. I went into this movie with the highest of hopes that I would at least have much of the same magic that the first film had. Unfortunately it fell flat as a pancake. It was terrible to watch Stiller lamely go through his routine. Its like second nature to him now. It was harder to watch the lovely Amy Adams bring a shining light to the screen but be snuffed out by a script written by a 5 year old. Hank Azaria did a decent job with the lisping pharaoh. But I was just so disappointed with the lack of fun and magic. It was a nice try, but I wont be rushing out to buy the DVD to add to my collection when it comes out.

  • Fantastic B movie with some genuine LOL moments

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I am a massive fan of the horror/b movie genre dating back to Evil Dead days, and this movie didn't disappoint. With a superb cast of non-Russian speaking actors, it was well done. The twists in this movie are well thought out and dare I say original for once. And the humor, well, it doesn't come any blacker than that. I was most impressed by the gore factor, it wasn't massively over the top like others make it out to be, i was quite surprised by how they sometimes went with "less is more" logic. Very well orchestrated.

A well chosen movie by Stephen Dorff. Keep them coming mate.

  • So bad it hurt

First of all, let me start off by saying I am a big fan of Owen Wilson. That said, I am no longer a fan. This movie was so painful to watch my date fell asleep in it, i fell asleep in it, most of the theatre was restless and laughter was non existent.

The storyline.. well, id bag it out, but there is none. It is the worst conceived piece of tripe i have ever watched. Michael Douglas was totally useless in this movie and Kate Hudson was just there for eye candy. Her lines were lame and didn't consist of anything more than "oh" "no" and "come on" ****Spoilers so please beware**** What was the deal with not seeing Mandie in this film or Anna? Seriously? This movie was great for starting conversation on the way home between my date and I as we quickly and easily dissected this piece of garbage someone called a film. This has indeed prompted me to get out the old camcorder and make my own film. It may suck, but at least I wont rip $15 out of your pocket to see it.

    Utter crap.
