Great music-driven indie Gem! A great watch, especially if you like underground Hip Hop, or stories about musicians grinding to make it (which I do!). Love the tone and direction overall, and being set on the road around various parts of Texas provides an interesting mise en scène which doesn't often feel associated with Hip Hop films or music. There's tons of original music in it, as well as performances, freestyles, and everything else you would expect to see in a film about a group of rappers on tour. I saw it on Starz recently, and love seeing this kind on content on major networks like this. Excited to see what Katherine Propper does next!
I really enjoyed this film! While it's an indie, the cinematography looks excellent, and the score was really well crafted also. I love a good romance story, and I think there are piece of this that anyone can relate to. Overall, definitely plays like a Drama, but also has some funny and cute moments peppered in. The formatting is also really cool in regards to flashbacks and how they're used to interrupt the linear storytelling in regards to specific locations. Really enjoyed that aspect of it as well.
I also really enjoyed that it was set in St. Louis, which is an awesome city and I can't recall many (if any) other films that are set there. Overall, a great watch and definitely I film I could see myself re-watching again down the line.

Lot's of really funny scenes and dialogue. I also like how it's a nuanced perspective, where the protagonists are the Best Man and Made of Honor, the "best people", rather than the perspective of the Bride and Groom.
