majidbhurgri-1's rating
Taken at its literal level, it is a decent movie. But when you consider its inherent and possible symbolic levels and meanings, it is nothing short of a true masterpiece.
Excellent use of cinema medium by the maker of movie to express her take at human psychology, experience and myopic perspective even at the most immediate and basic level. Painfully demonstrates that if one cannot be at peace with ones own self and end up becoming one's own worst enemy, how can then one live at peace with others!
Scathing critique of obsession with misdirected search for paradise of eternal youth and joy. Absurdity shown in the final scenes is senseless and needs to be taken as such without trying to make any sense of it where there is none.

A very average movie which has been grossly overrated by the viewers that share the film maker's biased and lopsided views. Those giving it top rating of 10 have done so mainly as a duty to support a political and religious viewpoint. The lacks substance, style and sense of fairness.
If you for a moment ignore the religious and political overtones, you would find hardly anything likable about the movie let alone rate it as best movie ever made in India. Only a pathetic sense of partisanism and a blind sense of duty to a particular viewpoint can drive anyone to heap such superlative praises for an ordinary movie playing on negative emotions of a particular class of viewers.

Meaningful and entertaining at the same time portrays bitter reality as it is, without any candy wrapper. Tackles some sensitive issues of racism, corruption and hypocrisy.
