I'm so late to watch this heartwarming film, but it's truly beautiful. This family drama tackles simple issues but executes them brilliantly, likely because it's supported by Indonesia's top actors. The acting and dialogue feel completely natural. The Javanese-Indonesian accents perfectly capture the Yogyakarta vibe.
The cinematography is absolutely stunning, a real treat for the eyes from start to finish. The accompanying music is no less interesting, authentic Javanese music to pop music. The ending is warm, happy, and satisfying. A work that successfully touches the heart and brings happiness to its audience.

This film has a pretty interesting premise, although there are some parts that feel less realistic. However, overall, this film is very entertaining and a shame to miss.
The appearance of Reza Rahadian and Sheila Dara is the main attraction. Both appear natural, not excessive, and do not make the audience bored. It is no wonder that Reza Rahadian is a regular in various Indonesian films, his acting is always amazing. Sheila Dara is also able to match Reza Rahadian's acting, the chemistry between them is very well established.
In terms of pacing, this film is quite okay. The storyline runs dynamically, it doesn't feel forced from beginning to end. This film also manages to convey emotions to the audience well.
The cinematography of this film also deserves a thumbs up. The beautiful natural scenery of Indonesia is explored to the maximum, the visuals spoil the eyes of the audience. The color grading used is also quite fitting, although there may be some different preferences from each audience.
Unfortunately, there are some small notes that need to be considered. One of them is the lack of a deeper story about how Kiara and Reuben finally have feelings for each other. At first, Kiara seemed uninterested in Reuben, but suddenly she looked jealous when Helen won. This part felt illogical and needed further explanation. In addition, the ending of this film also felt too rushed. The resolution of the story felt too fast, as if they wanted to end the film immediately.
Nevertheless, this film is still recommended to watch. The entertaining story, stunning acting from Reza Rahadian and Sheila Dara, beautiful cinematography, and good pacing are the main attractions of this film. It would be better if this film was made in a serial format, so that there would be more time to develop the story and characters better.
Overall, this film managed to convey the message it wanted to convey well. The script is also good and natural, making the audience feel comfortable following the storyline.

This film offers a fairly gripping horror experience, with the main strength being the atmosphere built and the acting of the players. Although there are some small details that feel inconsistent, such as a scene of heavy rain but not long after that suddenly dries up without any traces of rain. However, this does not really interfere with the overall story. The actors are able to explore their respective characters well, especially in the use of natural Javanese. Derby Romero also appears convincing as an annoying senior figure. The horror atmosphere is built quite well, making the audience feel the tension throughout the film. Unfortunately, I don't really like the color grading used, even though the properties shown are very total. The dialogue in this film is natural and flowing, adding a strong impression to each scene. Overall, this film presents a fairly tense and entertaining viewing experience, although there are some minor shortcomings that need to be considered.
