This is an erotica book series. You're watching erotica. Rate it as such. Great and moves the plot enough. Don't hate. Watch for what it was intended to be.
From the music to the beautiful set design, effects, wardrobe...music...did I say that? Cowboy Bebop is fantastic. I think this is a wonderful original story that anyone who hasn't seen the anime will enjoy. Long time now grown up fans of the anime will enjoy this too.
Anime only watchers who are offended by good reviews and are chomping at the excuse to hate on anything that isn't an anime or manga will probably do that to this-even though it doesn't deserve it.
Don't be such an insecure weebu. This is a well produced production that is keeping the lights on in someone's home. This series is WELL DONE and they cast/crew/production teams deserve a 2nd season, but I would also love an adaptation of the feature film as well.
10/10 Crazy / Uniqie / Well Acted - Very R Rated action, comedy, drama...and JAZZ!

The girl who is very Alice in Wonderland oversized is SOOOO distracting. Was pandemic the excuse for bad CGI blending / bad angles in Cinematography? This is a Joss miss. Never thought I'd say that. It's a shame some of his other work that was brilliant was canceled. This will be maybe renewed, but if not-for once understood as it's "Victorian London Mystery" stereotype meets "quirky characters trying to not be quirky".
