I'm not a huge fan of web series, but this one got me hooked. I finished all the episodes in one go, and boy, does this series give you the creeps. I can confidently say Khauf is one of the most technically brilliant and chilling horror shows to come out of India.
There are three main plots that run in parallel - they can be a bit confusing at times, but it all comes together with a satisfying ending. The best part of the series is the dingy locations - they really add to the overall sense of dread.
Definitely give it a watch if you're a horror fan and appreciate good storytelling with solid production.

You can tell where this movie is headed within the first 15 minutes. From there, it drags itself to the grand "reveal" like a wounded animal, testing your patience at every turn. By the time it finally gets there, you're practically begging for mercy-just wrap up this mess already. The cinematography is good (1 star is for cinematography only) and the actors do their job, but none of that can salvage a story that feels uninspired and, frankly, not worth the time. It's a frustrating, drawn-out exercise in patience.
Worse, the film seems to think it's clever, mistaking unnecessary complexity for depth. It drags you along, teasing some grand revelation that never quite delivers and by the time it does, you just don't care anymore.

A fast-paced show where most characters are deplorable and hide heinous secrets.
Even with all the unnecessary, b-grade sleaze thrown in, the show manages to keep you hooked. But just when you think you are nearer to the big revelation, the director moves the goalposts, leaving you with a tantalizing feeling.
The show has its fair share of plot-holes and absurdities, too. Would you ever expect a person to turn into a computer genius - capable of designing cloning apps, hacking into CCTV camers - after they have spent 18 years in a Mexican prison? No? This show makes it all possible.
A discernible viewer will likely switch over after one or two episodes. A large majority like me, will go on for the sake of cheap thrills.
