Not gonna lie, this one tested my patience. Like the entire high school arc?? It was giving no for me. The girls 'Rang Rang' while acting cute every five seconds had me internally SCREAMING - girl please, breathe normal for once . I almost dropped it just because I couldn't take another forced giggle or "teeheehee" moment.
BUT THEN. College happened. They got jobs. They grew up. And suddenly it was SO CUTE?? Like who were these mature adults with goals and emotional depth?? I was actually invested. The second half totally made up for everything. Their dynamic was SO much better post-high school, and I finally saw the couple everyone was raving about
So yeah, 7/10, and that's solely for grown-up era. The first half? Never heard of her. The glow-up was real, and by the end, I was like "Okay fine... I ship them now." Character development and timeline skips ftw.

Okay. So I started this for Jung Hae In and Jung So Min because HELLO the cast is elite?? I was so ready to be obsessed, like full-on heart-eyes mode. But nope. Chemistry? Missing. Story? Limp. Emotional damage? Caused by the wasted potential
And WHY is the main girl being sick suddenly the blueprint for "depth" in K-dramas ever since Queen of Tears?? Not every sad girl needs a tragic illness to be interesting, I SWEAR. This plotline was so unnecessary, like they just threw it in to add drama without even building up to it properly. Give her a personality, not a medical file pls
Also... the second leads??? CARRIED. Their chemistry was popping off while the mains were just awkwardly making eye contact and calling it romance I was lowkey shipping the wrong couple the whole time.
Anyway, it was mid. Beautiful cast, meh execution. Fix the script and maybe we'll talk.
