A nice, simple Christmas story. Very enjoyable. Simple camera work, and I imagine was shot on a low budget, and has mostly unknown actors, but has a really great story so doesn't need anything flashy. It has a bit of conflict but not a sad movie (who would want to watch a depressing Christmas movie?), and everything is resolved nicely in the end. My mom and I enjoyed it, it was very sweet, and very much in line with the holiday season. Appropriate for any age.
This story could have been turned into a major motion picture, but instead is just a short, 50 minute movie that moves along nicely and really brings you in. Again, nothing flashy, so don't expect this to look like a box office movie, but a great little story that's worth a watch. I found it memorable.

6/10. It's fine, for what it is. It's definitely stupid-funny. The kind of thing kids would like. As an adult, you can wander in and out of the room as the kids are watching, and feel like you haven't missed much. It's like a series of goofy scenes on top of a simple underlying plot. It's a very simple movie with simple humor. You'll find you yourself grinning, and maybe give a snort and a smile at number of the scenes.
Here's what to expect:
8/10 for entertaining kids ages 8-12.
10/10 for not being offensive
4.5/10 for entertaining an adult
3/10 if an adult had to sit down and fully watch it a second time.
2/10 for being memorable
10/10 if you're truly looking for a movie that succeeds at being intentionally stupid (reminds me of 90s version of McGruber)
10/10 for not being annoyed if your kids played this over and over again in your house.

I like picking up random movies I've never heard of, to see what I think. This was one of them. I went in with no expectations and was still disappointed. If anything, I can usually get amusement and a laugh out of a strange movie, but this fell flat on all marks. The acting was bad because it was so flat. ...it was really bad. The story just kind of existed, and wasn't interesting in any way. Things progressed very slowly, which is fine in itself, but there was basically no feeling of anticipation. Now, I like off-beat stuff, but this, I just couldn't get into. I think it tries to be artsy at times, or something, I'm not really sure what to think about some of the scenes. It was just plain boring.
I'm giving it a 2/10 simply because I was able to finish the movie, and because I've seen worse. But make no mistake... This movie is quite bad. And not even in a funny way. I was having a hard time even picking a rating for this movie. It's kind of like watching an instructional video for your new Singer sewing machine- it's not really something that you rate. It just kind of... Exists.
