Jason Statham is your typical "action man" of the movies."Death Race" has blood,speed,action,basically the works.

It would be best if one considers this to be the perfect Saturday night action movie,perfect for those friend gatherings or family nights.

The only thing that bothered me is that guy Lists.I mean come on man how childish can you be?I understand that he's the one that's supposed to bring a small amount of humor due to his clumsy behavior but he was way exaggerated because you just don't find people like him in maximum state facilities.Guys like him are always gonna' stay out of trouble so they don't wind up in prison where he'll most probably meet "not so nice" dudes.

Final words:it's a good action movie so see it!

This movie is an absolute insult to the human race and to the(so far undiscovered)extraterrestrial race.I mean,what were they thinking when they wrote the script?Keanu Reeves in the role of "Klaatu" a silent alien,Kathy Bates in the role of the most annoying and stupid defense secretary which just won't learn that maybe there is an alternate solution besides blasting rounds into the "visitors"and Jacob the little boy(i believe he must be at least 11 years old)who is thirsty for blood:"We should kill them".WHAT?How a little 11 year old can be so blood thirsty that his first line when seeing Klaatu is about killing him,is beyond me.

The CGI is pretty good although i've seen stuff like that in many other movies.One thing that struck me is why would the extraterrestrials destroy us but save the animals?We have the brains,we are communicative,we can express feelings,we can exchange ideas and above all,we can understand things(science,art etc).Sure,i care for the animals as much as anyone does but this is just plain stupid.

Final words:a total disappointment,a hilarious role for Keanu Reeves and Kathy Bates has the most annoying role in film history...it's like no matter how many alternatives you bring her,she still is full of herself,full of her huge ego "We can find another solution,we can talk to him" and she's like "NO,we're Americans and we do it this way.Kill them!" and it's not that's she's stubborn,but she's just stupid.Give me a break will you!

I actually thought this would be just another action movie.Remembering Neeson from his astounding role in "Schindler's List" i was mesmerized by his capability of showing us what a father feels when his daughter is in danger.

The movie is just meant to keep your adrenaline level extremely high and puts you in a revengeful mood.It got me to the point were i wished those pimps/mobsters would suffer a great amount of pain(and they did).Yes,it's that GOOD.

Final words:a very good action movie(i haven't seen one like this in a few months)
