  • humorously sad

Being a huge Jeff Burns fan, its no wonder I liked this movie so much. It is one of the best local Indie movies I've seen in a long time.

The Plot: Unrequited love and humorous cell phone problems.

The Good: This is a very well done movie. Jeff Burns has great direction as always. The actors performances are real good. You won't find better direction for this kind of short movie. I don't normally watch shorts but Burns has changed that.

The Bad: Its not for everyone and its only 11 minutes long. It is an Indie but its very well done.

    I give it a 10/10!

  • mothers and daughters and surprises oh my!

Saw this and five other films awhile back at a local cinema. It was packed and we had a blast. Very impressive film. This is made by a local filmmaker on a low budget so double impressive.

The Plot: Quite humorous mother daughter understandings and misunderstandings. Mother is a bit out there and her daughter harbors a big shocking secret. A must see!

The Good: Top par directing and script. The acting is a little amateur but the movie more than makes up for this.

The Bad: Only 8 minutes long. If this was longer the plot could have developed more.

  • Not much here by way of substance

I saw a screening of this at an Edwood Film Festival and it was CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this is supposed to be Indie but it was boring and there's no real "theory" to the plot! The only people who could possible 10 star this are probably the people who put this movie out! It's a pretty typical murder mystery. Nothing new just a copy of other movies. It's about a man and something bad happens to his girlfriend. The boyfriend tries to find out who did it and it turns into a pointless overdone mess. The main character becomes an alcoholic until he meets a new woman. The biggest crime was the hour and a half I lost watching this.
