After watching the Pilot I have to say the writers did a good job incorporating the wackiness without going over the top like they do in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The characters are also not overly unbelievable like in Brooklyn Nine-Nine which are totally over the top at times. I am pleased when I don't have to face-palm myself at scenes like when they use corny idiotic used up jokes in other comedy shows.

There are a lot of cliché moments, but it is a cliché story so that is to be expected. I still found it very entertaining and hope it gets picked up for more episodes. All in all very well written for such an cliché story.

Maybe I am getting old, but having comic relief moments every 5 minutes is not my thing. Only good thing about this show is its getting better, slowly, but surely.

Maybe my main problem is the shows PG rating. Firefly had a rating of TV-14 and a completely different feel of comical relief moments. You felt like you caught the characters being childish not that they are childish on purpose.

The science duo Fitz and Simmons dialogs annoy the hell out of me. Its like watching 12 year old on steroids sometimes.

Anyway with the childish comical over the top acting scenes the shows loses my interest at times completely so at the end I have to say I am disappointed at what came out of the most expected show of 2013.

Basically if this was a TV-14 or higher rated show this could have easily been one of my top shows of 2013, now its just something I check if its getting any better. It is, but not by much.
