Bandana is not a good movie (sorry Bandana fans, but it really isn't). The girls can barely sing, so imagine how bad their acting is... The plot is far-fetched, and the characters are not well developed. There is one unforgettable scene... the "crying" scene (all the girls cry for different reasons... It's hilarious when it's supposed to be sad) But, aside from that, Mr. Tomas Yankelevich's direction is very good. As far as I know, he studied direction in L.A, and he used everything he learnt in "Vivir intentando". The movie is colorful, well edited, with a real professional look. Which is a lot to say when you're talking about Argentine Cinema.
My hope is that maybe some day Mr Yankelevich will leave his mother's path (Cris Morena - who is a writer and Producer of several teen-oriented films and TV series) and fully develop into a professional director, with ideas of his own.
Bandana-Vivir Intentando 2/10* (It may go up to 4/10 if you watch it with unprejudiced friends and a bottle of vodka)

"Los Simuladores" tells the story of 5 associates who run a "Simulation" business, that is, they simulate situations in order to make a person change his mind about something or help people to get out of different kinds of situations. The series is highly entertaining. The different roles the actors perform are truly marvelous and the stories are wonderfully told. To sum it up, it's a great show, with an excellent plot.
Woman on top is one of the most forgettable movies I've ever seen. It's poorly written, poorly directed and above all, poorly acted. The worthless attempts of "Spanish" actress Penelope Cruz trying to be "Brazilian" are pretty pathetic. It's two thumbs down for me.
