Just love how unlike other British soaps, this show continues to represent a mix of real life and not just focus on the depressing stuff. Alot of mystery in this episode that has me wanting answers to stuff, but also some comedy gold from Jack, Norma, Dave and Archie. Perfect mix.
The on going storylines this whole series so far have been very varied which keeps it interesting. Some new characters here also bring some fresh perspective and as always, the acting is at a high standard. It's still hard to believe some people rate this show so low when it's done on pretty much no budget. It really does deserve far more credit than it gets as the writing is solid and the cast are brilliant.

I don't see how anyone can give this show low ratings. Even if it is not your cup of tea, you have to give credit to the fact it has no production company backing or funding, yet it has been going for so many years and churning out quality episodes with relatable storylines. Nothing but respect for all involved for keeping this going. So many projects don't see the light if day due to no funding, our town has never been held back by that.
I have been watching this since the pandemic and have not missed an episode since. I have also gone back to the early stuff to catch certain back stories. The whole little our town universe is so intriguing with so many complex characters who you end up feeling are a part of your life, like people we know. It is so relatable and in the characters I feel like I've met real people like that.
The show tends to bring so much emotion out, it's a perfect blend of drama, gritty, romance and funny moments. I love the nostalgic moments too as there are so many throw back moments to it's past. So great too that still some originals in it such as Karen, Toby and Dave. Please keep this show going, it's like wine and just keeps getting better with age.
