If this is an honest representation of current youth and the club/nightlife scene, the world is doomed. I'm an old dude who spent many nights in Studio 54 and know what it's like to be young, carefree and "enjoying" life but also know that all of this must be built on a foundation of substance. These kids appear to be vapid, pretentious and clueless. It's embarrassing and painful to watch. I realize this is a television production but none of the cast comes across as interesting or likable. In fact they would be a reason to NOT patronize these establishments.
It's understandable that this show is popular enough to get renewed for a second season.
People LOVE looking at train wrecks.

This show is an embarrassment to what made the NYC downtown scene special beginning in the 1970's. Back then it really was about ART not FAME. Once upon a time downtown NYC was special; now it's just a bunch of transplants playing a game. They all look like they're playing a part in some scripted play. I guess it's just an extension of social media which didn't exist when downtown NYC was really relevant. However, this may be a fair representation of today's reality, unfortunately. I miss the old NYC, especially downtown NYC. If you look hard enough some remnants still remain but you need to look hard to find it. It's worth the effort.
I have no idea how anybody watches these action movies. Any of them. BANG BANG BOOM BOOM for 2 hours. What is entertaining about that? It bores me to death. I only kept it on to look at Ana de Armas.
