I like this series. This information is listed on Google, but it is wrong. In the "Promised Land" episode (Season 1, Episode 1) of Spenser: For Hire, Hawk drives a white BMW 635CSi. While Spenser drives a dark ivy green 1966 Ford Mustang, it's Hawk who is associated with the striking white BMW. There is no information in the search results to suggest Hawk is driving a Ferrari in this episode.
When you pull up this series, it is titled S1 E2: Promised Land. I am watching it now, and the character Hawk is driving a white Ferrari. Another example of you can't believe everything you read. But it is a good series. Hawk makes this show!

I have read the book, True To The Game and the others in the series which I enjoyed. As a serious reader and writer of my own novels, it was very refreshing to hear this book was being made into a movie. I saw it last night at a theater in Vegas and I must say, it was good. The sound, story line, DP, soundtrack, and acting was good. Many independent film projects do not receive the attention they should. And this film had new faces as actors and actresses which were great. It is boring to continue to see the same faces in movies. Very few urban fiction books make it to main stream movie theaters and this one was a pleasure to sit back and watch. Go see it. If you desire to see more independent films in theaters, then support the one that do make it. I like this movie and it inspires me to remain focused on my own book to movie film project. I could watch this movie again.
Miles Away was raw and I like the story line. Interesting ending but I will not give it away. It made me laugh and it makes you think because the subject in the film so many people deal with in real life, sad but its true. As you watch this movie you will be asking yourself what you would do if you were in this situation. Heart ache and pain can and does motivate people to do some things that they later regret deeply. But once you release those words in anger or those actions, you can't pull it back and the damage has already been done. The movie has a slow build up but it takes you there and back. I would say this movie is thought provoking and emotionally stimulating. You can rent or buy this movie on Vimeo.
