Canaveral De Pasiones is based on a Mexican novel of the 20 th century entitled "EN EL ALTAR", and its set takes place in the region of Coatepec, Naolinco, Xico, Las Animas and the surrounding sightseeing spots of the Cane plantations of my state, Veracruz. The last episode speaks of a biblical reading from the book of wisdom, that is, Life and death of the just and unequal. This is what i learned when i was in sixth grade, summer of 1996 , also, some of my friends had the chance to see the set and meet the cast. Of course I was a bit far from the place where it was filmed for i was a city boy with a very humble upbringing though i had the best schooling so far and I endured every episode. I owe attention and care to the suffering of Julia and Pablo. I would like to point out that if my godmother died the way "Amalia", I would have to be very brave, and I would have reacted similarly although I don't reckon who would have listened. So far the best soap opera ever, all the heart and soul are well put together in this masterpiece of Mexican roots.
