Unlike Los Elegidos (2019), it is considered the WORST Mexican telenovela ever. The story was bad and at the same time distorted. The genre of the telenovela is so confusing that it is almost a blatant copy of Rosy Ocampo's Camaleones (2009), which has the same story but with a different smell.
I also didn't like the ending of Sueño de amor; we thought that Ricardo (Cristian de la Fuente) would stay with Esperanza (Betty Monroe), but now I see that he didn't, he stayed with Cristina (Marjorie de Sousa). The second of the three telenovelas with distorted endings from 2016 to 2018; the last one was Sin tu mirada (2018), in which Marina (Claudia Martín) would stay with Ricardo (Juan Martín Jauregui), not with Alberto (Osvaldo de León).
Cristian de la Fuente's performance was really terrible, 75.5%. The soap opera, as well as the cast, was horrible, it was hooooooooooorrible!

Even though this episode was the most anticipated of all after its cancellation in 2022 and its last scheduled to premiere in 2024 with a new version, it left me speechless after watching.
First, it was not fair what they did to Violy's parents. In the final episode of its predecessor series 'Violy Gets Grounded', Violy had a better moment with her real family after the two predators were executed, which ended up celebrating all of Los Angeles, but which ended up making Gustav indignant. His only intention was to hurt gays and trans people, especially to get revenge on Violy's parents for the harm they did to Emma and Ferdinand in 'Violy Moves Out'.
Second, the punishment towards Gustav was fair, even though he had a terrible past, it does not justify doing that to Violy's parents. He deserved to be locked up in jail.
This episode was good but too scary, I knew it would end badly.

This series was considered one of the best that Daniel Fuenmayor Ledesma has done, not only because of the plot that is very clear, but because of the reality that some young people like Violy Anderson are experiencing, who suffers domestic violence from her aunt Emma and her stepfather Ferdinand Devlin, without knowing that her biological parents were Giselle Anderson and Larry Zepeda who were lost since 2003, the date when Violy was stolen by her aunt, away from her mother. Violy, already a teenager, confused and discarded from reality, later found out that Emma and Ferdinand are not her biological parents. Since she saw the episode where Violy was admitted to a psychological hospital in October 2020, she relatively changed her personality over time with the support of her real mother, Perla and Nick Riviera. The ending was epic but it is no justification for them to create a scene over the issue of Violy's parents.
