  • Where can I watch this film?

Now this isn't necessarily a review but I've just been wondering for a while really over the last two years where and how I can see this old film. It could happen to you sounds like it was a sort of peculiar film production for director Stanley Long to work on given that up to that point in the mid 70s it seems he'd really only directed sex comedy films mostly but this film seems to me like it was a public information style film more dealing with the dangers of VD (STDs.)

I know that one reviewer who wrote a review in 2009 had seen it probably around that same time or sometime in the mid to late 2000s I'm guessing for when he must have seen it and he said that really the only watchable version of the film was an 1980s Spanish dubbed VHS copy but the reviewer had seen it on a DVD Rom disc that I'm guessing the VHS copy was most likely transferred to.

If anyone does know where I can watch this film that would be most helpful.

As far as I know, it doesn't seem like the original English version of this film exists anywhere at least from what I've been able to find mainly on the internet when looking up this film and there doesn't seem to be any playable versions of the film at all mainly just reviews and information.

  • It's an okay tv series from the 1970s to the early 80s but it's just fine and okay for me

I think with play for today from what I've got from watching experience of some of the series episodes is that just some of the stories of the plays of the episodes are good and stand out somewhat for examples with play episodes like "Nuts in May", "Abigail's Party", and I sort of have small soft spots for plays such as "Penda's Fen" and "Our Day Out" and "Pasmore" just to name a few but with some of those good plays most of the rest just seem to have proven for me to be quite boring or somewhat depressing as well. Now just to bear in mind I'm 18 and so of course I was never alive when these plays were originally broadcasted but honestly with most of the plays I just seem to get the feeling that audiences who were watching at the time just would have found it quite dull some of the time and just in general not always the best television viewing for Tuesday nights on BBC1. For an example of a slightly not the most sensical of plays shall I say, "Jack Point" to name one now the play itself is situated around the G&S (Gilbert and Sullivan Society) and the story centers around the committee mainly as they decide who should get the part of Jack Point in the yeomen of the guard and they're deciding whether it should be Clive Bates or Rowland Matthews and in the end they decide to choose Rowland Matthews to play the part of Jack Point but he ends up looking so frail and quite poorly when he's finally up there on stage at the end.

  • I would love to see the whole of this tv series one day

I first came across this tv series about two years ago when I first discovered via an episode being available on youtube the episode being the third of the series and I've come back to the video of the episode quite a few times since then and it would be good if the complete series could be found one day and then possibly uploaded to YouTube or to another streaming site and it would be even better if the series could be released on DVD someday and I don't really know whether the BBC have kept the series in their archives or as someone once said about the series that the bbc could still be archiving the series under a "too good to be broadcasted" section of their archives. It would be also good if anyone ever video recorded possibly home recorded it when it was first broadcasted or from a repeat showing no matter quality.
