  • nice feel good film

Normally I don't do reviews but this one I liked so much and still not many good reviews out there. This is just one of those movies- light-hearted, funny, good direction, a couple of tear-jerking scenes, feel-good movie, something you'll wanna watch time and again. I saw this in the theater and a year later watched it at home and loved it even more!! I never really liked Drew Barrymore, but after this movie I have new profound respect for her, and Adam Sandler, well he delivers the goods. The storyline is pretty interesting as well, about Lucy (DB) suffering from daily memory loss and Sandler making her fall in love with him everyday......

Give this film a try, i know it;s not for everyone but if you're into a nice feel-good movie....give this a try...

  • excellent drama, superb acting, amazing dialogue

Like THE PRACTICE, this is a well-made piece of drama dealing with the struggles in a typical high school in Boston. Created by David Kelley, who also made the hit series ALLY MCBEAL, this show is an absolute must-see for any lover of drama.

Probably the best thing about BOSTON PUBLIC is the thought-provoking dialogue, especially the speeches given by teacher Marla. Though it is not really life-like, the inter-personal dialogues are quite interesting. The direction is also stunning. The angle-movement of the the camera and the excellent acting makes this a feast to enjoy.

Though some will find the show boring initially, if you persevere, you will find that it is certainly worth it all. Give it time, and it will grow on you.

This is one show that must be watched by fan of ALLY MCBEAL and THE PRACTICE.

  • Quite good, though a bit too much on the blood gore

I expected this film to suck badly- and boy was I wrong. This is actually a pretty good flick. The plot develops quite well. It's about a vampire, L'Estat, who wakes up in this generation, and openly welcomes it into his world (or maybe the other way around). Anyway, he starts a hit rock band, but unfortunately, the QUEEN OF THE DAMNED wakes.

One good thing about this film is the dialogue- none of that excessive swearing (not any here, really), but really life-like. I love Aaliyah's dialogues especially.

Now I wanna see INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE.
