I loved this show. The humour and the eccentric characters with a dose of mystery and true crime all blended to make it a must see for me. I thought it was excellent story telling throughout and the ending was good. I did not find it slow as I enjoyed the humour and getting to know the characters. The actors made the characters feel real and dud an excellent job. It took me on an adventure to a small Irish village full of characters and interesting people who all had their demons and past struggles. I enjoyed every episode. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who appreciates good story telling and has a dark sense of humour. We need more culturally rich shows like this.
I enjoyed this TV thriller. Fast moving and adventurous. I normally take a long time browsing through various streaming apos then reading reviews and end up watching nothing trying to find something to watch. I'm not an expert on production script lighting etc just want to be entertained. I binge watched this over a couple of evenings and really liked it. It kept me wondering what would happen next. Yes there are some plot holes but the characters and story kept me hooked. Eva Green plays her part well and Vincent Cassellbl hebis so hot. I thought there was real chemistry between these two. Good to see a fellow Scot Peter Mullan who played his character well. Good stuff. Give it a shot.
Only watched it for a little while and was surprised at how wooden the lines were delivered. Acting felt amerauterish and actors felt like they were just plodding along. Boring and uninspired.
