The plot is bizarre.
The story is lame.
The voice actors are crummy.
If I want to watch House Arrest, I'll pick out the 1996 kid oriented comedy, not this crummy piece of junk.
The 90s film had rebellious children who fought against their quarreling parents.
The 2016 film does not.
Avoid this adult animated monstrosity and go with the kid oriented 90s classic.
Kudos to MGM Studios and Rysher Entertainment for releasing the film in the 90s.
Kudos to HBO Home Video for putting the 90s kid oriented comedy on VHS, DVD and Laserdisc.
Kudos to Max for doing a clean job.
Go see the 90s film.

A teacher, Janet Craven, asked me about the classic 80s cartoon.
Nothing could possibly beat the retro style.
I might possibly email Netflix to drop "Cuties" and continue showing "Lady Lovely Locks & The Pixietails" instead.
Disney+ also confirmed the rights of the original uncut/unedited animated series (in the form of a backstory film with Madison Pettis doing the narration of how the orphaned princess became a protector of her kingdom, keeping her land safe from the evil RavenWaves).
I'm a huge fan of Lady Lovely Locks & The Pixietails.
Make it happen for Netflix and Disney+.
LADY LOVELY LOCKS!

Not as good as the 90s counterpart of the same name which the children who fight against their parents, resulting in an house arrest (hence the name of the nineteen ninety six movie), thus ending their bad parents quarrel. I'd probably pick out the 1996 kid oriented comedy instead of the 2016 crud. The 90s rulez! 2016 is kinda a bad year. I'd rather stay on the road of goodness than go down the road of adult animated movies (with the exception of Simpsons Movie and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut). See my other review of House Arrest (1996) on IMDB. Good title but a disaster for MGM and HBO.
