Like a number of others, I have my own share of playing and watching Minecraft? So I went to watch open minded and ready for the worst. Video Game movies tend to be a hit or miss, so what's the harm in seeing if this one is any different?
I am happy to say the MineCraft adaption was better than expected. The common challenge with Video Game movies is appealing to everyone which includes non-gamers? The story while unexpected managed to keep a fair balance of incorporating human and game like elements.
It's cool to see a wide range of features from the game in the movie. Not just to be blurted out, but used in some creative ways. Big bonus plus for the humor, achieving that in a MineCraft movie is worth a handshake.
Perhaps it's just me, but there will be a feeling where you wonder if the movie could of been better? I have no issues with the story line, but it's within the lines of "playing it safe."

To be frank, I liked this movie as it explored the hidden thoughts of robotics in the modern world. Everyone tends to think of " what if " robots worked the boring, common jobs. You don't need to pay them, no benefits, and they have no concept of exhaustion.
This movie explored this segment a step further where if the robots themselves realized they matter as entities.
The first part of this movie was well crafted, it was a pinpoint accurate explanation for the setting. Juts knowing I am able to freely recall each second shows how impactful it is.
I didn't see that many issues apart from this movie attempting to incorporate different themes. It has vibes similar to I Robot or the other animated robot movie where they stand up for themselves.

I waited for the initial hype to die down and watched this movie myself.
I have to agree with most of the others, Brave New World didn't feel brave at all. If anything it was far from it.
I have no issues with Anthony M, he gave it his very best as the "successor" to Captain America. The last few movies were master pieces which set him up for a new epic start. Sadly, this is far from it.
The flaws unravel themselves around the halfway point of the movie. It begins to feel underwhelming. Without diving too deep into the pacing/plot/clarity matters, you will immediately wonder how it could have been so much better.
