I took my 8 year old son to see this today as it's half term holidays, as we fancied the cinema and there was nothing else he wanted to see.

This French produced animated film (known internationally apart from the UK and US as "Falcon Express") was excellently made, kept me amused for 87 minutes with even a few laugh out loud moments.

My son thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've got to say the animation was up to modern standards but the animation of the train was superb.

I was blissfully unaware of this film when I took my son to see Dogman.

The fact the Vue cinema chain showed this short took me back to my childhood as there was a short feature for most screenings.

The actual film is excellently made and shows what talent the UK's young filmmakers have.

Thoroughly enjoyable, funny and a perfect break from modern life. Shot in a beautiful part of the world it was a joyous experience and I look forward to more from this project.

I hope this project gives more of our talented young filmmakers encouragement that they can have their project shown in cinemas nationwide.
