Really enjoyed this movie. Already watched it twice this week! Enjoyed the different characters, the storyline and the beautiful scenery from the countryside in Norway. This was really my cup of tea, and nice surprise when I randomly chose to watch it. Made me both laugh and cry. I trained myself to run 20k after having been knocked a bit around by life, so I could relate a bit. I highly recommend this movie if you're looking for feel-good without being too cheesy.
PS somone commented on the English accent, however, you should watch it in it's original language with subtitles - dubbing really ruins movies since the voice is such an important part of the actor and the acting ;-)

I loved this! Binged it in one sitting. Great laughs and lovable characters, just really enjoyed myself and was gutted with the abrupt ending.
I do not understand the low rating though, and well, I suspect that quite a few religious people did not really care for the message in the show, which is unfortunate because the only way forward is tolearating and accepting other beliefs. The war between religions has got to stop, and this show is an entertaining way of getting this message through. We just need to treat each other kindly, have a good laugh and do good deeds and the world will be a better place. Not arguing or fighting about who worships God the best way.
Take care xx.

I binged this in one go. I not only love Gina Rodriguez in this, but all the other characters as well. Funny, original, and tought provoking. And very entertaining. I can't think of one single scene that should not have been there, and I am really happy to learn that there will be a renewal. Not to spoil anything for anyone, but I am also really really happy about the outcome of the final episode. Young people growing up today learn so much more about what being true to oneself really means, and that instant gratification and ignoring the tiny red flags are rarely the best choices - my generation were not so lucky, and that might be one of the most important reasons there are so many divorces amongst us.
