A random post recommended this to me, and oh my god, this is amazing. Best series I've watched this year so far. I thought the one-take technique praise might be overrated, but this was done amazingly. I saw no noticeable cuts. The cinematography is amazing.
The actors are all incredible. The young actor who plays Jamie did an incredible job, with many chilling scenes, and the dad's performance in the last episode is notably strong. That psychologist is also a standout.
The writing is really good as well. They tackles themes like online radicalization and toxic social media content without making it feel too heavy-handed. I really hope this wins some awards because it deserves it.

Strongly recommended. I expected a light, fun sci-fi film, but this delivered so much more.
In the past, I might have said that the villain here is comically evil, but nowadays? No. This is an accurate representation of a certain out-of-touch multi-billionaire with god complex.
The story is well-written and very engaging, though it drags a bit toward the end. A few moments seem unrealistic, but nothing outrageous that breaks the suspension of disbelief-it's sci-fi on an alien planet, after all.
Robert Pattinson gives a standout performance, and Bong Joon-ho's directing is good, like his previous works.
