I recently bought this film on DVD, and I have to say it's a great movie. This film is some what a remake of Maximum Overdrive (1986), a film Stephen King wrote and directed, but disrespected the original story, Trucks. Now this movie is more like the story, and at least this time the same title was used. There was no Green Goblin truck this time, I thought that was stupid, and this time the lead truck so to speak is a huge white freezer semi. The film ended the same way I was gonna do if I were to write a Trucks 2 screenplay, with the helicopter, but I guess that's trash in my book. I watched it twice now, and have an urge to watch it again.
I watched this yesterday, to be truthful, I never heard of the original story until after watching the movie. With human endurance related films like "Alive" and so many other true stories, this one stands above them in the heart of Canadians like me. 8/10
