Ruthless is a short film and a comedy released on 21 July 2021 in Ireland. It's a film from United-Kingdom directed by Mathew McGuigan and written by Kate Perry. The film talked about P. J. a young boy, played by jay Lowey, who is the son of Wizzy, played by Jonathan Harden. P. J. Wants to buy the new album of his favorite rock band but his father doesn't want him to. So the young boy sells the old peg leg of his father to buy the album without his permission. The film is set in Belfast in the 1970's.

I like this film because the plot is very original and interesting. The production is well because we can understand easily the film and I find the acting of the principal characters good. The musics are consistent with the different situations. But I don't really see the elements of comedy in the film.

I recommend this short film because it has a golden dragon nomination (The best film of the festival). I recommend this film to people looking for an original story that can be different of other films, with a good acting and production. But I don't recommend this film to people wanting a comedy and to people wanting to watch a long film.
