Quite an enjoyable film, showing that some young men are mature and smart enough to fall in love with an "older" woman. I really enjoyed the pretense, but felt that Jacqueline must have been as much uncomfortable with embracing and kissing Eric as her character, Maggie was. Eric, on the other hand, seemed to have no problems at all with the chemistry that he was portraying towards Maggie, as John. Some of you who think this type of story is fantasy should read what Andy Rooney has said about relationships with "older" women. ;-) Sure hope to see much more of Eric Mabius in the very near future!!!! Wouldn't mind seeing him at my front door either!
This was a very heartbreakingly beautiful love story. Despite the negative comments I've read here, I feel that it's one of the best films/stories I've ever seen. And, I feel that the actors did a very good job portraying their characters. Ryan and Rachel are both really attractive, sensual and endearing as the young couple. Their story is both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, at the end. I wish that I could find someone who loves as Noah did, with every fiber of his being; never giving up hope that his true love would return to him. Only to have to lose her over and over, day after day, as age and an unforgiving disease steal her mind/memories away. James Garner and Gena Rowlands are superb!
I really enjoyed watching Harrison & Josh acting together. It was a fun, action-packed film with two great hunks! They made it look like they enjoyed filming it too. I always enjoy watching Harrison Ford! The only time he freaked me out was in What Lies Beneath, at the end.
