This movie tells the story of a Kate who meets a charming man on a dating app who appears to have it all- the looks, the charm and the money. Of course that isn't the case.. I've seen so many Netflix movies now about online scammers who try to squeeze money out of their victims by pretending to be rich and needing 'help' that it was cool to see a lifetime movie follow this storyline and makes you empathize with Kate as she falls for Walker and his devious scheme to rob her of everything. There were a handful of flaws with this film in terms of the cuts and a few moments in the acting that I wasn't a big fan of but overall this was an enjoyable film :)
I mean that as in the romance aspect of the movie. The scenery was beautiful and there was a lot of potential for heart in this film, but the romance didn't seem to fully manifest on screen. I couldn't tell if it was a chemistry thing or if it was the writing.
The acting was believable for the most part and I really liked the grandfather character. He was one of the stronger parts of the film and had you feeling for him throughout the duration of the movie.
I love fall movies because I don't have seasons so I love escaping to them in movies. For that reason and the grandfather I give it a 7.

I was expecting your typical Lifetime thriller with 'Nightmare PTS Moms' but it actually had a nice mix of comedy in it that isn't in a lot of other thrillers on the network. It's about a couple that moves to a new town with their daughter. The mother joins the school's PTA after meeting a charismatic Vanessa who turns out to be nuts. The whole story was believable because I could totally see this all playing out in real life (which definitely isn't always the case). I thought the chemistry between Gail and Chloe was strong as far as mother and daughter relationships go. There are plenty of other movies with a similar-ish plot, but I'd say it's got enough going for it that it's worth the watch :)
