If you haven't watched Great Kills yet, you're seriously missing out. This series nails the mockumentary style, flipping the genre on its head in the funniest, most outrageous way. Steve Stanulis is electric as the Hitman-commanding, unpredictable, and magnetic. James Merendino has crafted something truly original here. The writing is razor-sharp, and the cast brings every moment to life. The premise-a documentary crew following a hitman-sounds insane, but it totally works. It's dark, intense, and wildly entertaining. I've been hooked all weekend and already counting down to the next season drop.
A powerhouse film with a stellar cast and a plot full of sharp turns, building suspense all the way to its explosive finale. It's the kind of story that demands a sequel. Steve Stanulis' unique touch is all over this-I've been diving into more of his work lately, and this one truly stands out. At its heart is Niko, a father devastated by the news of his daughter's brain tumor and desperate to raise the money for her treatment. On Staten Island, options are few-but family loyalty runs deep. As Niko is pulled into increasingly dangerous choices, the stakes skyrocket in this gripping, emotional ride.
100 Meters is the ultimate surprise of Annecy 2025! From storyboards to dialogue, every second bursts with passion. The animation captures athletes' physiques with jaw-dropping beauty, and the emotional beats hit so hard they'll have you hyped and crying. This film made me fall in love with sports all over again! #Hyakuemu
The rotoscope technique brings a raw, almost surreal intensity to every movement. You can feel the weight of each footfall, the wind resistance, the pressure at the starting blocks. The character arcs are beautifully layered, showing that sprinting is as much mental as it is physical. The sound design alone deserves its own award-so immersive it pulls you into every breath and heartbeat. 100 Meters doesn't just tell a story-it launches it straight through your chest.
