Bobby seems to have picked up where he left his villainous role in animal movie.
These type of movies need a ruthless villain and Bobby delivers, your all familiar with Balakrishna style, larger than life character.
The movie is a good weekend entertainer, with a recycled storyline of good vs evil.
The director's of south have found a winning formula of cramming 2 stories into one movie, although highly entertaining and your getting more movie for your buck. Not every movie can pull this off and this is where daaku maharaj leaves you yearning for more.
This movie would have been a solid 10 but, storyline seems rather rushed.

Unfortunately with a lot of good tv shows, the writers cannot keep the same stamina towards the end.
First few episodes are gripping and dark.. introducing mysterious characters like the british talking guy, and the girl that calls a jail phone... but then the show soon loses sight of what direction the main character is supposed to go, if you cant beat them join them. There are some overly aggressive and corrupt characters you would want to see punished but the writers want us rooting for them towards the end.
The positive things about the show are you can binge it as the lacking climax is made up for by the good production values.

So clearly like most people, I was expecting it to be like the movie. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are a married couple and both spies but they don't know this and discover about each other which was the most fun part of the highly forgettable one time watch movie.
I was hoping this would take a more serious and darker take on the movie which it did seem to with the opening scene, where jane and john have fallen in love and gone rogue now the agency needs to take them out, off the a great start.
Then you get 2 misfits put together as a pretend couple to carry out missions, their first mission is delivering a package which turns out to be a bomb that kills 9 people and these idiots celebrate their success of the mission instead of questioning anything they carry out these type of useless missions and get paid.
The part where this turns to a real mess is it all becomes about their pretend marriage and their feelings about each other and how those feelings affect their professionalism.
If you are looking for a spy thriller action show this isn't it, its just a bore fest after first episode, don't expect any twist or the curtain to be pulled to expose the mickey mouse agency.
