So many of these episodes in this series are just ridiculous, but this is one of the worst! In reality Max Sheffield would have fired such an irresponsible airhead a long time ago; and he certainly would have never fallen in love with her. Also, the nanny's mother is the most irritating character on this show! Again, in reality, no mother would have the freedom to come and go to her daughter's place of employment like Fran's mom. In all honesty, with some many other shows to choose from, that were far better at that time, I am surmised of it's popularity. Truth be known, I watched ""The Nanny" because I believe that Niles the butler was best character of the series. As far as I am concerned he is the one who kept it going for 6 years.
I was looking forward to watching this movie, as both Taylor Cole and Tyler Hynes are such great performers. However, though I have always enjoyed watching Taylor Cole, in this movie she was extremely pushy and irritating as Lacey. One example being the way Lacey misled Zac as to how easy it would be to enter her "Bachelor Bake Off", just to coerce him into participating, as she was desperate to replace the bachelor who dropped out of the contest. Zac even called it a "bait and switch". I also believe there was much less chemistry between Cole and Hynes than with their costars in other films. Not Hallmark's best choices for the starring roles.
In the first place, there is no way that the blogger Nicole's assistant would have been able to get into Kade's phone without his passcode! And, there is no way she would be able to have known it! And, my gosh could the makeup artists have made her assistant's hair look any worse? The two lead characters did have good chemistry, and were enjoyable to watch. However, the best part of the movie for me was when the underhanded scheming boss who had no integrity at all was fired! The scenery in this movie was also beautiful. I would have given this a higher rating if it weren't for the cell phone incident, as I stated earlier that could never have happened, as the blogger's assistant could never have known Kade's code to unlock his cell phone. Dah!
