  • Sweet side of Anurag Kashyap? Yes, that was very sweet!

I am an ardent lover of Anurag Kashyap's work! Specially his boldness of not going with so-called mega actors of B-Town and very unconventional music directors (All have produced electrifying music is all of movies, nevertheless). He is an Ace movie director, top of the stack with Raju Hirani. When I first heard about the movie a year ago, I though that the title was a joke. But when it was released with the same, I was somewhere feeling shallow about it (After not so promising Bombay Velvet and Raman Raghav 2.0). Heck who cares if it is made and chosen by AK.

This movie is a bumper one, what a typical masala a movie should carry. Though most of the dirty politics, low grade stature of training centers are predictable, the movies shines bright with one of the cutest of love stories and a bull of a performance from Vineet Singh. I really liked the way the story ends, a fantastic depiction of character which most of Hindi cinemas lack. All the music, fast and slow, the Pump organ song was amazing and squeals the pain of the characters. Though the light and camera was a bit dull, it blends perfectly and does justice about the location and the emotion of the movie (but there was a significant amount of room for improvement there). Albeit it does not hit the heights of Gangs of Wasseypur or Dev D or Gulaal, but it beats them with its own sweetness.

  • There is no limit where Sir David can take you

I have watched each and every documentary which are graced by his greatness, Sir David. And the quality curve just ascends in unbelievable manner as you progress your way through the series made by Sir David. The jump in quality gets lengthier and even more lengthier as compared with the last series you watched. And LIFE STORY is again another bagful of fresh miracles in Mr. Nature's effervescent voice. As always, it challenges you in picking your favourite moment from the whole series. Each story is filled with minutes drama and wonders where each minute is a story itself.

It makes me really sad as I am from India where I cannot claim a copy of the elusive and luscious poster of the series. Life feels wonderful when we add meaning to it. I am proud of my life as I happen to have discovered the true story of my life, which is Sir David!!!
