This is a masterpiece! The way history was "weaved" in was amazing ok no more dad jokes but seriously this was pure gold. Getting anything done to your hair hurts! Everybody compliments you and you genuinely feel strange but get used to it. The historical folklore in this movie was amazing! Its in other movies happy to finally see it in a movie that is a reflection of me. Everybody from the top to the bottom did quality with Bad Hair! I feel like it is so grounded in reality every aspect of it and it just makes it that much more relatable.
I recommend it I love how the underlaying message was not all heros wear capes those that do aint the best but try their best and at the end of each and every day we are the bigger ones the overcomers.
So much reality, great actors and can't help but appreciate the ending. Something about finally overcoming is beautiful. I seen Taryn Manning and I knew it was going to be good. I feel like I met a bunch of absolutely excellent actors in this film to look forward to. Great piece happy I subscribed to ALLBLK app hopefully that support insights more excellent films like this. Black love black excellence on a screen I love it I love it I love it! A must see!
