Vince Gilligan returns 3 years removed from his last work, and brings his first major project nearly 2 decades removed from the beginning of what was the creation of arguably the greatest universe in tv history.

Going into this series you can't help but have the bar high, but it's important to suppress expectation given we likely will never get what we got out of Vince and Peter's previous universe ever again. But nonetheless the concept of this show in itself brings you in as well as the minimalist in your face branding.

When i heard of the workings of this series years ago when the placeholder title was 'Wycaro 339' it was probably my most anticipated series sue to it being Vince and Rhea Seehorn spearheading this project. Hearing that the show is being filmed in New Mexico did worry me a bit though. I think it's important to make this show feel brand new and far removed from Vince's previous works, and being in the same location with the lead actress being a pioneer of that universe could lead to confusion. But Vince has always prided himself on never insulting the intelligence of the audience and it should go both ways so i trust his vision of keeping his og crew and sticking with his guns.

With that said, episode 1 blew me away. Yes i had high expectations but i didn't expect to be sold so quickly. The acting was amazing, the pacing wasn't too much, and the show was able to breathe while perfectly introducing you to the universe you're about to dive into. I'm very excited for what's to come, and i hope everyone feels the same.

Smiling friends somehow continues to up the bar with season 3. With the halloween specials being a seasonal trend there's an expectation every year for them, and while mine personally were pretty high this blew me out the water.

Visually this is BY FAR the best episode in the entire series. The twists and turns were hilarious yet unsettling, but also had a fun story involving the psyche for a certain side of a character that we've never delved into this deeply. The gag at the end was hilarious as ever, but also had a twist in itself that puts into question the entire sequence of events that played out.

While the mr frog masterclass is still my favorite this episode was worth the one week break and some, and might grow on me even more as this show tends to do. It's nice that the new face of adult swim is getting the budget it deserves to try new things and go all out, and the animation crew deserve major recognition for this. At the pace this season is going, I'd be shocked if it doesn't end up being the best so far.

In all my days, i didn't expect to embody the feeling i felt today after witnessing the experience that i just witnessed witnessing. I didn't see an episodic body of work topping the great near hour spectacle that was Breaking Bad's 'Ozymandias', but the day has come... and so have i.

Enjoy this high folks. Because you are currently living in the good times after have the upmost privilege of soaking in this experience like a sponge, and ex-queez me but i will not like to have it squeezed out of me.
