I always find it interesting when new actors and actresses come to the screen and how the audience react. I am a big fan of who dunnit mystery shows and I guess that I am slightly bias to this genre.

However this series is good, so good its a shame there are only 6 episodes.

Laura Fraser, brilliant, Ella Maisy Purvis, wonderful.

The story leads with Patience, an autistic young lady who works in a criminal files room, who one day happens to get involved in a case being led by DI B Metcalf.

For me, the different episodes are easy viewing, dont drag on, even enjoyed the theme music to the series, Hope there is another series in the making.

I believe having had the opportunity to watch all four seasons of Borgen, writing a review now would be a true reflection of what I consider to be a masterpiece of writing and acting.

To all those who have not seen this series, having a like or dislike for political driven shows I believe it would find it enjoyable to all.

The plot centres on Birgitte a female politician who rises to be prime minister in Denmark.

Throughout the show, the ups and downs, involving Birgitte's family, how the TV and journalists are constantly jumping on any negative information seems to be the constant storyline. However its strongly effective, interesting and entertaining.

For me, watching and listening in Danish with english subtitles is so much better than dubbing, mainly because when english is spoken especially " Sidse Babett Knudsen" who plays "Birgitte" her english especially, would put most of us English to shame.

I guess the only negative, but this might be the case in Denmark, does the prime minister get no security at home, can only speak for the British prime minister who has an armed secure guard away from the public, one scene " Birgitte is home alone when her ex-husband's new girlfriend wanders in unannounced.

Great watch.

Watched the first episode and was totally on board with the story, Jackie a very highly intelligent girl with high future aspirations loses her parents and sister in an accident, so moves from New York to Colorado to live with the Walters.

From then on though the narrative is just off, surely the Jackie character should have been written in as a rebel, hard to control, or just someone not getting over the death of her family, and broke, then the series would have made perfect sense.

Overall it seems that the stories are made up as the series progresses, each episode the writers look at each other and decide next what to write.

This is utter rubbish, very young adult entertainment.
