I understand that Nathan and Elizabeth are a Couple and need some screen time but Season 12 is oversaturated with them and Allie. The ensemble cast and My favorite Lucas Bouchard have nearly absent from each episode this show has been based on community and not just three characters it exemplifies that neither of the 2 Show Runners can produce a balanced and compelling episode case in point Melissa Gilbert guest starring as Georgie McGill, her screen time was barely 5 minutes if that yet we had over 20 minutes of a silly inappropriate dream with Elizabeth and Nathan which didn't progress their storyline at all Why in The world would you focus the episode on that when you have a beloved actress like MG guest starring ? 🤔 Pitiful Michael Landon Jr right this ship before it sinks please 🙏
I Loved The Cast straight away Chris McNally and Holland Roden are magical together great writing, excellent acting (loved the small main cast) I hate when theirs too many people to keep track of. Loved that the writers didn't pair off romantically or have Beeks n Maddie attracted to each other or even admire each other until the very end it gave the hidden admiration more depth. The Mystery clues were excellent I didn't figure it out until the last minute and the secondary stories were neatly intertwined that it kept the movie moving along rather interestingly enough plus they were well connected too really Hope Hallmark makes it a series.
It was a little slow to start and the first hour had hardly any Christmas action/activities. Kevin just didn't seem to have his heart in this movie where as Kim was bubbly and bright and definitely had sympathy for her with user boyfriend stealing her real estate clients and not really caring for her needs. I did However like Grandma and her eggnog scene and in the stands at the Hockey game, She was a scene stealer. The scenes with the kids hockey team were cute, and Kevin didn't seem too awkward with them eventhough he towered over them some kids can find It daunting as kid actors doing sports scenes. It was a pretty predictable ending as well.
