I'm 54 at time of writing and I can't believe it's taken me til 2025 to see this masterpiece. Don't think about it just watch it and be prepared to be blown away. I grew up, my teenage years were during the AIDS pandemic I remember the ignorance the bitterness and the hatred people felt toward homosexuals but I also remember the changing attitudes and how we learned to accept we were all different and we were all people. The HIV/AIDS epidemic was an awful time to live through and a movie like this powerful touching heartbreaking really hits home how difficult it must have been for gay men and others who contracted the virus and the stigma they suffered on top of everything else. This is a genuine 10 out of 10 movie. I'm off to tell my family they must see this .. after you've seen it I'm sure you'll do the same.
A movie I accidentally stumbled across whilst looking for another with the same name, absolutely love this movie, great acting, David is really creepy major Damien vibes. You really need to give this a go I promise you won't be disappointed. I'm no movie reviewer I'm just some guy with a penchant for horror movies and this is a gem. No spoilers just switch it on sit back enjoy and thank me later. It's very easy to become invested in this movie and at times find yourself rooting for the "bad guys". Sure creepy kids are a well worn trope in horror but this really is on a different level. Don't watch before bed or with the lights off 🤣
An absolute genius taken from us far too soon even today (2022) still miss "Kuddly Ken" Feeling blue give this a whirl it'll brighten your day. Sure you wouldn't get away with this in todays "I'm offended by everything" world but was a staple of my teen years.actually now I think about it "angry of Mayfair" would fit in perfectly today. Beloved characters "Sid Snot" "Marcel Wave" "Gizzard Puke" no one ever did it like Kenny along with an array of star guests and bands of course who could forget the gorgeous "Hot gossip" tame by todays "pop star" standards but outrageous in the 80s and we LOVED it. Thank you Kenny R. I. P.
