One of the poor and creepy plot that doesn't create any impact on audience but rather makes it sick to watch. Very generic acting, worst editing, and amateur dialogue writing.

Bollywood makes some good horror movies, but if the plot and direction is not right, then it is hard to seat through two hours of sluggish movie which is not creating any thrill on viewers. The plot has similarities to movie Exorcist, in which ghost controls the girl with complete cruelty. However, it is one thing to show that is done by ghost, but in Shaitaan, an adult male controlling a girl with complete cruelty without telling its premises in story ahead of time, appears very creepy and offensive. This movie may make you feel at the end, like what was that crap about, what did I just watch.

You can't just hire big cast and expect to do some magic without having great plot in horror movies. Sometimes movie ratings fails to match with actual quality of movie, with people giving so many 10/10 rating, for what? For some random scenes that fails to build a movie. Giving 2 star for little twist in the ending, thats the only one though in this movie.

That same SLB style everything grand with zeal for great detail shown in every aspect of his creation. Lights, shadows, colors, costumes, stage, cinematography at the level that only SLB can do, in Hiramandi it is at gold standard of visual aesthetics, besides everything else including direction and storyline. The effort SLB has put in to Hiramandi to show his audience the very fine details of visual excellence, it would require rewatching to absorb it all.

With Hiramandi, SLB has imagined everything as an artist who likes to paint the picture and bring it to life with his clever cinematic art. SLB with his clever cinematic art makes this saga of 1930 India very immersive for his viewers, its like being right there live.

Totally missed to watch this top quality movie, but glad that it finally came across. This movie definitely a must watch for its precision direction, refreshing story and captivating acting by lead actors.

What a galvanizing acting by Taapsee Pannu, she captures your attention throughout the movie with expressive acting that matches the character's journey. Abhishek and Vicky Kaushal also has given perfect justification for their character and lifts the movie to higher level.

Director and producer duo has done magic with alll aspect of this movie, story telling, editing, sets and precision direction.

But I think what gives further edge to this movie is its music. This movie is very much a musical movie, all songs are perfectly placed for treat to your ears, mind and soul, specially the climax song "Hallaa", that song will remain with you beyond the movie, claps for the music director.

Definitely a must watch movie if you have missed it or it is can also be a perfect repeat watch.
