I love everything old. Could not wait to watch this series and it has not disappointed. I love that. They're pretty much regular people trying to renovate a castle while still holding weddings that will fund this renovation. It's not like they're millionaires or have an investor to help them with this. They're real and they they're funny. I wish I could be there to help them. How wonderful they are doing this. I love when they go in the stables to look at all the stuff they have there renovate and bring into the castle. We faded three of our houses. So I know how much work this takes. Bravo to them.!
I always did like Tarek. From day one. My husband and I are not flippers, but we've done everything on our own on our three homes that we've had in our 42 year marriage. So I know a lot of stuff I really didn't want to know. So I can relate to talk when I see the look of frustration on his face when they do not follow his advice. We are very careful with our money. And I'm on pins and needles until the end of the show to see what happens to these poor people. He's a straight shooter. He's built a wonderful business through his hard work. Very admirable from my point of view and the remodeling of our houses that we've gone through.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Absolutely stunning. Love the dark moodiness of this castle. That's kind of what a castle is supposed to be. I personally love all the natural woodwork. Like chip said it offends me when I see wood being painted. But the rooms that were painted are stunning. Joanna did a great job. My husband and I do a lot of this stuff so that looked like an awfully big task that they Rose to. Loved seeing each room with its own space and character. And that they saved so much warms my heart. Every time I go past a broken down home I want to go in it and save the woodwork that can't be replicated. Actually, I have done that Which thrilled me to no end. Please find another castle to do.
